A '''stonemason's bench''' is a [[Crafting Surface|crafting surface]] for a [[Blockhead]] to create [[column]]s and [[stairs]] out of various types of [[blocks]]. It was added to [[The Blockheads]] in [[Game updates/20140402|version 1.5]].

When placed, a stonemason's bench appears similarly to a block of stone, hollowed out to fit a block of limestone, which, in turn, contains a small block of marble.

A level 2 [[workbench]] is required to [[Crafting|make]] a stonemason's bench. It has no upgrades.

Like other crafting surfaces, a stonemason's bench must be placed on top of, next to, or below a solid [[Blocks|block]], on backwall, on top of, next to, or below another bench or chest, before it can be used.

Tapping on a stonemason's bench gives two options: Remove and Stonemason's Bench.

Stonemason's Bench opens the crafting menu, showing a left-right scrollable list of icons. See [[Crafting]] for details about how to use the menu. Tapping the "Craft" button (if visible) will add the task to the selected blockhead's queue.
