A furnace is a crafting surface that allows the smelting of ingots.

Where Found

A furnace can be created at a level 2 workbench for one stone and 10 charcoal. The furnace created will be at its lowest level until it is upgraded. A furnace has a total of 3 levels.

Notes

In version 1.3, the options of crafting copper and gold coins were added, as well as turning them back into ingots.

In version 1.4, crafting a steel ingot was changed to require less coal, two instead of five.

In version 1.5, the option of crafting a gold ingot from a golden chest was added.
