Game Center is a feature created by Apple that was implemented into The Blockheads. It allows multiplayer to be played and also allows players to earn achievements.
A player uses their Apple ID to sign in to the Game Center. Meeting an achievement's requirements while not signed in may result in that achievement not being recorded.
